The staff of The
Brennan Law Offices is a well-trained group of individuals who are dedicated to serving

Tim Latimer worked for the L&N Railroad and its
predecessors for thirteen years in the maintenance department. He served his union local 1355,
as its Legislative Representative, and on the Auditing Committee. Tim further served at the
state level as the Assistant State Legislative Director of Indiana. After suffering a
career-ending injury in 1988, Tim continued to serve as Assistant State Legislative Director
through the end of his term. It was in that capacity that Tim, and Director Danny Gates, worked
on the development of the Indiana Dislocated Railroad Workers Program with the Indiana State
AFL-CIO. Tim then took a position with the AFL-CIO, as the Program Coordinator of the newly
established project. He also served as a local member on the advisory committee for Ivy Tech
State University, as a member of the AFL-CIO staff.
In 1990, after the railroad program had been
incorporated with the Indiana Workforce Development Program, Tim left his position with the
AFL-CIO, and began his career with our firm. Since that time, Tim has enabled us to create
a service package that better serves each and every client we represent. His knowledge of
the Railroad Retirement system, Insurance, and State and Local agencies has proven to be
irreplaceable. As a client you not only get personal and aggressive hands-on legal service,
you also get a staff knowledgeable in handling the immediate problems involved with every
personal injury claim.

Nadine Black has been with the firm for four years working as a personal secretary and legal
assistant. She works extensively with clients and assists them on a daily basis. Nadine's
responsibilities include drafting pleadings and correspondence, organizing and summarizing
medical records and bills, researching, scheduling depositions, and maintaining the attorneys'
calendars. In addition, she recently added bookkeeping and accounting to her job description.

Legal Receptionist
Rita is an integral part of The Brennan
Team. When you call the Belleville, Illinois office, you will usually hear Rita's friendly
voice on the other end. Rita has been handling the phones, directing messages, and
greeting visitors for ten years. In addition to her responsibilities as receptionist,
Rita assists in preparing discovery and medical summaries and performs various secretarial
duties.
